FOLLOWING VACANCIES

With the ratificatin of the ASEAN Charter in Desember 2008, the ASEAN Secretariat (ASEC) had embarked on an organization restructuring that is aligned to the requirements of the Charter and their respective Comunity Blueprins, namely: the ASEAN Political and Security Community (APSC), the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC), and th ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community (ASCC).

The ASEC is seeking qualified candidates to fill in the following vacant positions:

Chief Security

• Bachelor Degree with Safety & Security Training;
• Minimum related Work Experience 4 years;
• Safety and Security Knowledge and skills and very good sense of security discipline that consistent with international organization environment;
• Skills on Effective Communication and familiarity with communication technology e.g. VHF, HF System;
• Coordination and networking skills; Supervision and people skills; Monitoring and assessment skills; Negotiating and conflict resolution skills;
• Bilingual - Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia both in verbal and writing; Computer skills – word, excel, PowerPoint

Security Guards

• Education: At least Senior High School;
• Experience: At least two years of experience performing security function in government, international organisation, or private sectors with proven record of trustworthiness, sound, and quick judgement.

Receptionist

• At least Diploma (D-III) degree of office administration or public relation;
• At least 1 year of experience performing telephone operator or receptionist function in government, international organisation, or private sectors.
